Help
Answers to the most common questions, for individuals and companies alike.
Your price
The price you set is the amount you receive, by bank transfer, once your pair is checked. Our fees are already taken out of what you see: nothing to work out.
What comes off the price: bank fees and authentication service (3% of the price) and shipping to our warehouse.
One price, the one you receive: your company taxes simply appear on the invoice you upload.
How it works
How does Brickspace work?
Brickspace is the seller space of geturbrick. You place an offer on a new item from the catalog, size by size, and set what you receive. When geturbrick buys it, you get a shipping label, you ship, we check the item at our warehouse and you get paid by bank transfer.
What can I sell?
New, never worn items with their original box or packaging in good condition, listed in the catalog: sneakers, streetwear, accessories and collectibles. An item that is not in the catalog cannot take an offer yet.
Who can sell?
Companies and, when sign-ups are open to them, individuals, based in the European Union. Every account is checked before its first sale.
How long does it take to approve my account?
We check your sign-up by hand and reply by email. A sign-up can be refused. Once accepted, you finish your account in your dashboard: ID front and back for an individual, register extract for a company, then IBAN and acceptance of the terms.
I didn't get the verification email.
Check your spam folder, then use the "Resend the email" button on the page shown after you sign up. The link is valid for 24 hours.
Are there auctions?
No. You set what you receive, we tell you where you stand against the best current offer.
Flash deals
What is a flash deal?
An item geturbrick is looking for right now, in one exact size, at a set price: the flash price. Got it? Open the deal and claim it: you commit to ship it within 48 h if we pick you. Open flash deals are at the top of the home page.
What happens after I claim?
Your claim shows in My claims, waiting for a decision. Either we pick you and the sale opens with your label, or the item is found elsewhere and your claim is not selected. While it is waiting, you can withdraw it.
Can I ask for more than the flash price?
Yes, but it is no longer a claim: above the flash price, you place a regular offer on that size.
Price and fees
How do I set my price?
You choose what you receive, in whole euros. For each size, we show you the best current offer: below it, your offer goes first.
What fees come off?
Nothing to work out: the amount shown is what you receive, everything is already taken off. What comes off the price: bank fees and authentication service (3% of the price) and shipping to our warehouse (€7 from France, €10 express from another European Union country). No subscription, no sign-up fee.
Can I change my price or withdraw an offer?
Yes, any time in My offers: change what you receive, pause the offer or withdraw it. A sale already under way is still due. To stay online, an offer must be reconfirmed from time to time: we warn you before it is hidden.
Can geturbrick suggest another price?
Sometimes, when an order comes in on your offer. You accept or refuse before the date shown. Depending on the proposal, refusing lets the sale carry on at the original amount or cancels it with no penalty (your offer is then paused).
Sales, label and shipping
What happens when geturbrick buys my item?
The sale shows in My sales. Keep the item available while we confirm. Once the sale is confirmed, your shipping label arrives in your dashboard and by email.
How long do I have to ship?
Drop your parcel with the carrier within 2 business days of the confirmation, and within 48 h for a flash deal. Your sale is validated when the carrier scans the parcel: without a scan, after a reminder email, it is cancelled on the next business day and a penalty applies.
Who provides and pays for the label?
We provide it for every sale. Its cost is the shipping already taken off what you receive. With the Wholesaler rank, shipping is free.
How do I pack my parcel?
Put the item in its original box, then in a sturdy shipping carton: never stick the label on the item's box. Packing is your responsibility, even with our label: an item lost or damaged because of poor packing is at your cost.
What if the carrier loses my parcel?
Once the carrier has scanned your parcel, losing it is our risk: you get paid as for an item accepted at inspection.
Can I cancel a sale?
Yes, but it is a broken commitment. During confirmation, withdrawing the sale costs a €15 penalty. Once the sale is confirmed, cancelling it costs at least €15, your offer is withdrawn and your score drops.
I'm away: what happens to my offers?
Turn on holiday mode in Account: your online offers are paused until you are back, then put back online once their amount is checked.
Inspection and authenticity
How does the inspection work?
Every item is checked one by one at our warehouse by our team: authenticity, new condition, box present and undamaged, matching model and size. You follow the result in My sales.
What if my item fails the inspection?
It comes back to you at your cost: the return shipping plus a €10 penalty. You are not paid for this sale and your score drops.
What if the item's authenticity is not confirmed?
It is the most serious fault. The item is not sent back to you, your account is blocked and the penalty from the fee schedule applies. The item is kept, with no payment or refund. Only sell items whose origin you are sure of.
Penalties and sanctions
What are the penalties?
Item not handed to the carrier in time, or sale cancelled: from €15, more if we have to find the item at a higher cost elsewhere (within a limit). Item failing inspection: €10 plus the return. Authenticity not confirmed: the penalty from the fee schedule. Each penalty is detailed in Payments, Penalties tab, and taken off your next payments.
Can I dispute a penalty?
Yes, in Payments, Penalties tab, within 7 days of being notified, with your explanations and photos. Our team gives you a reasoned reply. A dispute pauses the offsetting; without a dispute in time, the penalty is final.
What happens after an item is not shipped?
The first time, your new offers are reviewed before going online for a few days. Twice within 90 days: your account is suspended. Three times within 12 months, or too many unshipped sales over 30 days: your account is blocked.
If my account is blocked, am I paid for my sales under way?
Yes: sales already shipped and accepted at inspection are still paid, after the penalties due are taken off. You can no longer place offers or claim flash deals.
Score and level
How does my score work?
You start at 70 out of 100. Each sale accepted at inspection adds 1 point (20 points at most). A late shipment takes off 5, an inspection failure 10, an unshipped item or a cancelled sale 15, unconfirmed authenticity 100. Only the last 180 days count.
What is my level for?
It sets how many offers you can have online. New: up to 25 offers. Established, after 3 accepted sales: up to 300 offers. Limited, if your score drops too low or too many of your sales fall through on your side: your cap is reduced until your score is back to 70. Your level shows on your dashboard.
Payment
When do I get paid as a company?
Once your item is accepted at inspection, upload your invoice in your dashboard. Once your invoice is approved, your bank transfer is scheduled within 2 days.
When do I get paid as an individual?
No invoice to make: after the item is accepted at inspection, we issue a purchase slip. You can dispute it for 7 days; without a dispute, your bank transfer is scheduled.
When do I add my IBAN?
Once your account is approved, in your dashboard, under Account. You need it before you can sell. Changing your IBAN asks for your password and a confirmation by email, and payments are paused for a security period.
DAC7 and tax details
What is DAC7?
A European tax rule. When an individual seller reaches 30 sales or €2,000 in a calendar year, we must send their identity and the amount of their sales to the tax authorities.
Companies and wholesalers
Which files are accepted for the register extract?
PDF, JPEG and PNG files of 3.5 MB or less. A renamed file (for example an HTML file saved as .pdf) is refused.
Do I need to make an invoice for each sale?
Yes, as a company: after the item is accepted at inspection, you upload your own invoice in your dashboard. We check it before payment. One amount, the one you receive: your company taxes simply appear on your invoice.
I have a lot of stock: how do I list fast?
Two tools in your dashboard: Sell your pairs, to prepare several offers in a row and send them at once, and a CSV file import in My offers (500 lines and 1 MB at most per file, checked by our team before going online).
What is the Wholesaler rank?
A rank our team grants, on request, to volume sellers. Shipping to our warehouse is free, in France and across Europe: nothing comes off what you receive for it. Returning an item that fails inspection is still at your cost. To ask for it: brickspace@geturbrick.com.
Do you offer an API for wholesalers?
On request: there is no self-service access, each connection is discussed with our team. Write to us with your volume and your stock management tool: brickspace@geturbrick.com.
Another question: brickspace@geturbrick.com.
Selling as a private person?
Yes: create your seller account, we reply within 2 business days. Once you are accepted, we ask for your ID.
